Owner James Sykes grew up on a dairy farm in the Catskills of New York, learning tree work alongside his grandfather and uncle. He came to Columbus in 2000, earned an engineering degree — then followed the work he actually loved and founded Sykes Tree Service in 2006.

Nearly two decades later, it's still the same simple goal: excellent, professional work at a fair price, done by people who grew up doing it.
